Screen recording software

Screen recording software allows you to record you computer screen and also allows you to record sound from the sound card. The main reason people use screen recording software is to give tutorials for people learning software. There are many different screen recording software some for Windows, Apple Macintosh or even both.

Screen Flow- Screen flow is a screen recoding software for Apple Macintosh which allows you to basically record everything on your screen including sound. It also allows you to edit you video with transitions, mouse effects and what keys you where pressing when recording your screen.

Camtasia studio and Camtasia for Mac- They are both pretty much the same one is for windows and the other for Mac. The windows version has a little more feature on it but other than that they are pretty much identical. They do a little more than screen flow on the editing side of things but both are as good as one another.

Camstudio- Camstudio is a free screen capturing software which isn’t really as good as screen flow and Camtasia. It only allows you to record your screen but doesn’t have any editing features. It is only on windows there isn’t a version out for Macintosh.

Jing- Jing is another screen recording software from the same company that makes Camtasia for windows and Mac but it’s a free. It’s not nearly as good as Camtasia but it does the job of recording your screen.
